Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Baikunthpur celebrated Gandhi Jayanti

KV BSF Baikunthpur celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great enthusiasm and reverence to honor the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. The event aimed to inspire students with Gandhiji’s values of truth, non-violence, and simplicity.

The celebrations began with a special assembly, where students and teachers paid floral tributes to Gandhiji. Speeches and skits highlighting Gandhiji’s life, his role in India’s freedom struggle, and his principles of Satyagraha were presented by the students. A cleanliness drive was organized within the school premises, promoting the importance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, one of Gandhiji’s core ideals.

Art and essay competitions were also held, focusing on Gandhiji’s teachings and their relevance in modern times. The program concluded with a group singing of Gandhiji’s favorite bhajan, “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram,” filling the atmosphere with a sense of devotion and patriotism.

Through these activities, the school successfully conveyed the timeless values of Mahatma Gandhi and encouraged everyone to imbibe them in their daily lives.
